Colour: Colour is graded through continents and countries, to remove the abrupt borderlines of more traditional designs.

Printing: The map is printed using a lithographic printing process onto a coated, silk-finish paper, with special colours, including silver metallic for the seas. The print is finished with a sealer, to protect the inks, and a gloss UV varnish is applied to the landmasses - for contrast.
